Make a BETTER First Impression!

Ok, we’ve all been here…you’re on the phone with a friend and you hear everything. 📣

Washing dishes

Putting away groceries

What are they doing, it’s so loud, are they moving the furniture??

Going through the drive thru

Checking out at the supermarket

You get the point.

We hear it. But somehow when WE are the ones doing it, we forget how loud it is on the other side. 🤔

If you are on a phone interview, have a coffee chat, or are doing anything where you want to make a positive impression on the other person (this isn’t a chat with your bestie or your mom)...

Be in a QUIET environment.

No washing dishes, be in a different room than your dog while your Amazon packages are being delivered, and bribe your kids (and maybe your partner) with snacks so they are quiet. ‼️😂

You only get one chance to make that great first impression. The dishes can wait.

Oh, and before you start your interview, coffee chat, whatever…PREPARE. Researching the company is one of the easiest ways to show up and sound like you did your homework…something that will impress everyone.
