Resume Bullet Points

🤷‍♀️Everyone always talks about targeting your resume and including numbers, but what does that actually mean? I'm here to answer that question for you.

✅Showcase what you have done, add numbers as often as possible, and always show the results.
❌Your resume should not read as a “task list”, looking very similar to the requirements of the job posting. Instead, it should tell your story of success.

❌Instead of “Responsible for leading staff members”
✅Write, “Lead 4 departments, managing 32 direct reports over 112 employees providing education to a diverse population of 850 students

✅Always add numbers
✅Always think about the results
✅Always make sure that the achievements you are highlighting are relevant to the job you are applying to
✅The job posting is your guide to the skills and accomplishments that are important
