How I Got a Job as an Instructional Designer

🥰You are going to LOVE this story!!!

Linda made an awesome transition to Instructional Design from Homeschooling Mom, following the path of many transitioning teachers, and she landed MULTIPLE instructional design positions! It's fantastic to be in a position to choose!!! 🙌

🎉In fact, she was having a blast with her interviews and there was a twinge of wistfulness when she accepted a job and wouldn't be able to go on any more interviews! She was confident, knew what her skills and accomplishments were, and had the mental space to learn as much about them as they were about her.

😳But it wasn't always that way.

🥰In fact, Linda said that one of the best parts of working together was that I gave her the safe space to be vulnerable and incompetent, but not stay there. Never stay there.

🤣This had me in stitches! Linda said, "I'm a Southern girl, and your personality and mine could not be more polar opposite. Your New York, direct, bold, lay in on the line approach to the process and life is EXACTLY what this personality needed."

💪Imagine going from "um, well, so there was a time" when answering behavior-based interview questions, to concretely, boldly, and deliberately answering interview questions and having it still sound like YOU, not someone else's words.

💪Linda coined this as "Cindified" and it empowered her to land MULTIPLE Instructional Design jobs. (yup, multiple!! Watch the video to hear about them.)

🤩Linda, is smart, funny, determined, and definitely Southern. Listen to hear how this Southern Belle found an amazing job that gave her the income she needed, the interaction with other adults, and the tremendous sense of accomplishment with her daily life.

✅If you want a real-life story that will make you realize that YOU absolutely can do anything, THIS IS IT!
