Get Past the AI Interview!

💻 Quick tips for an AI Interview…

😑Alone, staring at your computer, as you are prompted with a question and need to respond within a matter of minutes is nobody’s favorite method of interviewing.

Here are the secrets to ACE your next AI:

✅ Prepare in advance as you would for a regular interview. You will have even less time than normal to think on your feet, so being prepared will help you tremendously.

✅ Research the company and know why you want to work there.

✅ Be able to provide your salary expectations. (See my video on how to best navigate salary expectations below)

✅ Have notes. Put them on sticky notes around your computer, or even better, prepare a poster board (the kind the kids use for presentations) behind your computer, so you can keep looking directly forward.

✅ Look at the camera when responding, use voice inflections to show enthusiasm, use your hands to demonstrate personality, and smile. 😁

✅ Provide succinct examples and stories. Be mindful of the time so that you don’t get cut off.

✅🌟 Most important tip – Even if you are allowed multiple takes, do it in 1! In real life, we don’t get do-overs. You are much more likely to be considered if you record in one and done.
